Emma Lewell-Buck is the Member of Parliament for South Shields.
In June 2013 Emma became a member of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Select Committee.
In October 2013 Emma was appointed Private Parliamentary Secretary to Ivan Lewis, Labour's shadow Northern Ireland Secretary.
In July 2015 Emma was elected as a member of the Work and Pensions Select Committee.
In October 2016, she was appointed Shadow Education Minister responsible for children and families' policy.
